Nato nel 1984 e cresciuto in un piccolo villaggio della Germania dell’Est, la curiosità infantile di Carlo si è spostata sul disegno: il disegno è il primo volto grottesco a 3 anni. Da lì, il suo stile artistico si è evoluto naturalmente in un interesse basato sul surreale, distopico, utopico, misterioso e decisamente oscuro e spaventoso. L’ispirazione di Carlo è sempre stata alimentata dal suo amore per la musica e dopo aver suonato da adolescente in gruppi punk si considera fortunato ad aver lavorato con alcuni dei suoi artisti preferiti, tra cui King Gizzard e il Mago Lucertola, Oh Sees, Ty Segall, MGMT, Tame Impala e Kadavar tra gli altri. Ora troverai Carlo che risiede a Lipsia, dove ha iniziato a tatuare, oltre a fondare Busy Hands Fest, un festival basato sulla musica e sulla sottocultura che circonda i poster dei concerti che lo accompagnano.

Born in 1984 and raised in a small village in East Germany, Carlo’s childhood curiosity shifted to drawing: drawing is the first grotesque face at the age of 3. From there, his art style naturally evolved into an interest based on the surreal, dystopian, utopian, mysterious and downright dark and scary. Carlo’s inspiration has always been fueled by his love of music and after playing as a teenager in punk bands he considers himself lucky to have worked with some of his favorite artists, including King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Oh Sees, Ty Segall, MGMT, Tame Impala and Kadavar among others. You will now find Carlo residing in Leipzig where he began tattooing, as well as founding Busy Hands Fest, a festival based on the music and subculture surrounding the concert posters that accompany him.
