MEXICO 66 shoes are inspired by numerous classic running shoes, including LIMBER shoes, which were designed in 1966 for pre-Olympic trials. The LIMBER was the first shoe with the Tiger stripes and was later worn by the Japanese national team at the 1968 Olympics. The look, inspired directly to the shoes of the ’60s but redesigned for the present, gives the MEXICO 66 their classic shape, tight style and iconic design. Ideal for life in the city, work and play, they are made of leather and reflective suede and are decorated with the legendary Onitsuka Tiger stripes.
