Medicom Toy Calli Alphabet Tim Biskup Bearbrick 400% 2006 Limited Edition

Rarissimo.

Rare Bearbrick produced in only 500 pieces. Born from the collaboration between Medicom Toy and the American artist Tim Biskup in 2006.

The Be@rbrick is inspired by a series of stackable Toys made by Biskup in 2004.

Fueled by the raw energy of punk rock and influenced by the characters of Disney and Japanese anime, Tim Biskup produces paintings, sculptures, prints, and toys with a muscular, graphic intensity.

A resolute outsider, Biskup left art school, choosing to hone his skills and develop his vision through work as an illustrator, animator, and graphic designer

Tim realized he wanted to become an artist when he visited the Centre Pompidou in 1984 with his family.

There he was exposed to the works of Roberto Matta, Niki de Saint Phalle, and Jean Tinguely.

He enrolled in the Otis College of Art and Design Fine Art department in 1986 only to drop out in 1988.

He stated in an interview that he was frustrated with the fact that there was an excessive emphasis on conceptualizing art, rather learning how to make art.

Product in perfect condition, as it appears in the photogallery. Extremely rare.
