Dr. Romanelli torna nel 2011 con un altro progetto a fianco di Medicom Toy, questa volta per la creazione di questo Bearbrick che fa parte della sua serie Army/Navy.
In versione 400%, questo prossimo calo renderà omaggio all’icona del fumetto Beetle Bailey.
L’uscita ufficiale è avvenuta il 12 ottobre 2011 tramite selezionati rivenditori di Medicom Toy.
Beetle Bailey è un fumetto americano creato dal fumettista Mort Walker, pubblicato dal 4 settembre 1950.
È ambientato in un posto fittizio dell’esercito degli Stati Uniti. Negli anni immediatamente precedenti la morte di Walker nel 2018 (all’età di 94 anni), era tra i più antichi fumetti ancora in produzione del suo creatore originale.
Nel corso degli anni, Mort Walker era stato assistito, tra gli altri, da Jerry Dumas, Bob Gustafson, Frank Johnson e dai figli di Walker, Neal, Brian e Greg Walker, che hanno portato avanti la produzione della la striscia dopo la sua morte.

Beetle Bailey is an American comic strip created by cartoonist Mort Walker, published since September 4, 1950.
It is set on a fictional United States Army post. In the years just before Walker‘s death in 2018 (at age 94), it was among the oldest comic strips still being produced by its original creator.
Over the years, Mort Walker had been assisted by (among others) Jerry Dumas, Bob Gustafson, Frank Johnson and Walker’s sons, Neal, Brian and Greg Walker, who are continuing the strip after his death.
