In occasione dell’uscita del film di Star Wars: Il Risveglio della Forza, Medicom Toy ha rilasciato nel 2015 un BE@RBRICK dedicato al principale antagonista della saga, Darth Vader. La particolarità dell’oggetto sta nel fatto che il supercattivo non è stato immortalato nel suo solito vestito nero, ma è rappresentato nella sua proiezione olografica, utilizzando una plastica traslucida blu ghiacciata con dettagli che decorano la superficie del giocattolo in bianco. Disponibile nelle versioni 400% e 1000% lo Star Wars Darth Vader Holographic Bearbrick 1000% è uscito il 31 ottobre 2015.
Per quelle persone che si chiedono perché questo Darth Vader è in blu invece che il solito nero, il toy è ispirato ad una scena del mitico Guerre Stellari, l’Impero colpisce ancora.

However, this iteration of the supervillain aims instead to encapsulate his holographic projection, utilizing a translucent icy blue plastic with details decorating the surface of the toy in white. Available in 400 percent and 1,000 percent versions, the Medicom Toy Star Wars Darth Vader Holographic Bearbrick 1000% toy was available online from October 31 2015.
Sidenote for people who are wondering why this Darth Vader is in blue instead of the usual black. It is actually reference from a scene of “The Empire Strikes Back”
