Medicom Toy ha collaborato nel 2018 con l’etichetta californiana XLARGE e l’artista giapponese Hajime Sorayama per una speciale variante di BE@RBRICK 1000%. Bearbrick in serie limitata totalmente dorato brillante, un grosso marchio XLARGE al centro del petto, la firma di Sorayama sul braccio sinistro e le impronte da orso sotto i piedi.
Hajime Sorayama è un artista leggendario in tutto il mondo conosciuto come “Padrino della pittura con aerografo”. Famose le sue opere come la copertina dell’album AIBO di prima generazione di SONY e Aerosmith. Non è esagerato dire che la sua serie “Sexy Robot”, che ha integrato la bellezza estetica del corpo umano nei robot, è una leggenda del XX secolo.
