Nel novembre 2010, l’etichetta britannica Domino Records ha pubblicato Black Hole, una compilation di musica punk californiana, dal 1977-1980. La raccolta è stata curata dal giornalista musicale Jon Savage ed è piena di rarissime canzoni dell’epoca d’oro del punk della West Coast. Per celebrare, Stussy ha collaborato con Domino Records per rilasciare una serie di magliette di alcune delle band presenti nell’album.

Questa t-shirt è dedicata ai The Screamers, un gruppo elettropunk americano fondato nel 1975. Erano tra le prime ondate di scene punk rock di Los Angeles. Gli Screamer erano noti per la strumentazione insolita (un batterista e due tastieristi di solito sul sintetizzatore ARP Odyssey e sul piano elettrico Fender Rhodes. Musicisti aggiuntivi, tra cui violinisti e cantante femminile, venivano occasionalmente incorporati nelle loro esibizioni.

In November 2010, the British label Domino Records released Black Hole, a collection of Californian punk music, from 1977-1980. The collection was curated by music journalist Jon Savage and is full of very rare songs from the West Coast punk era. To celebrate, Stussy collaborated with Domino Records to release a series of shirts from some of the bands featured on the album.

This t-shirt is dedicated to The Screamers, an American electropunk group founded in 1975. They were among the first waves of Los Angeles punk rock scenes. Screamers were known for unusual instrumentation (one drummer and two keyboard players usually on the ARP Odyssey synthesizer and the Fender Rhodes electric piano. Additional musicians, including violinists and female singer, were occasionally incorporated into their performances.
