La Evangelion First Unit (EVA-01) Awakening version Be@rbrick è stato un elemento commemorativo per il Wonder Festival del 2015 in Giappone.
L’unità EVA-01, dal film cult Evangelion Fracture, è un classico contemporaneo del genere. La figura del Bearbrick è caratterizzata da un braccio arancione semitrasparente, molto simile a quello del personaggio del mecha poco prima di sferrare un violento attacco, che mostra un impeccabile dettaglio di verniciatura da parte di Medicom Toy.
In Neon Genesis Evangelion, gli Evangelioni (エヴァンゲリオン, Evangerion) (chiamati anche Evas o EVA) sono i Cyborg fittizi pilotati dai bambini scelti dall’Istituto Marduk (una società di copertura di Seele).
Gli Evas sono stati creati dalla NERV. Il loro scopo principale è quello di difendere Tokyo-3 dagli Angeli. Le immagini degli Evas sono state progettate da Ikuto Yamashita e dal regista della serie Hideaki Anno, che ha anche creato le loro storie.
L’unità 01 (初号機, Shogōki) è stata creata nel terzo allegato del Laboratorio di Evoluzione Artificiale di Gehirn ad Hakone ed è pilotata da Shinji Ikari (con Dummy Plug come pilota di riserva).
È il primo e unico Evangelio creato da Lilith, il Secondo Angelo, invece di Adamo, il Primo Angelo, da cui sono stati creati tutti gli altri Evangelions.

The Evangelion First Unit (EVA-01) Awakening version Be@rbrick was a commemorative item for the 2015 Wonder festival in Japan.
The EVA-01 unit, from Evangelion Fracture cult film is an instant classic. The Bearbrick figure is characterized by a half-transparent orange arm, very similar to that of the character of the mecha just before launching a violent attack, showcasing an impeccable paint job detail by Medicom Toy.
In Neon Genesis Evangelion, Evangelions (エヴァンゲリオン, Evangerion) (also referred to as Evas or EVAs) are the fictional Cyborg piloted by the Children chosen by the Marduk Institute (a front company of Seele).
The Evas were created by NERV. Their principal purpose is to defend Tokyo-3 from the Angels. The visuals of the Evas were designed by Ikuto Yamashita and series director Hideaki Anno, who also created their stories.
Unit 01 (初号機, Shogōki) was created in the Third Annex of Gehirn’s Artificial Evolution Laboratory in Hakone and is piloted by Shinji Ikari (with Dummy Plug as backup pilots).
It is the first and the only Evangelion to be created from Lilith, the Second Angel, instead of Adam, the First Angel, from whom all the other Evangelions were created.
